ReplyDeleteIt was WOTC's own April fools joke. They are actually snarking back at their detractors.
ReplyDelete@the-never - but that's just the point of Poe's Law; a parody that a lot of those who don't like 4e would have no trouble believing.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people who saw that probably thought "There's a lot of truth in that".
So is it an own goal by WotC? Or have they displayed an ironic self-awareness and an ability to laugh at themselves?
