For those of you who are unfamiliar with Poe's Law, it runs something like this:
"Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody...that SOMEONE won't mistake for the real thing."
So with grateful thanks to Fools Jest, on whose blog I found this and thought "Hahahahahaha!", we have the following example:

ReplyDelete@the-never - but that's just the point of Poe's Law; a parody that a lot of those who don't like 4e would have no trouble believing.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people who saw that probably thought "There's a lot of truth in that".
So is it an own goal by WotC? Or have they displayed an ironic self-awareness and an ability to laugh at themselves?
