A warm Yorkshire welcome to Akrasia, from whom I have learned a new word, and Mark from RPG Dumping Ground, who is running an introductory game for his two nieces and doing a very good job of it by all accounts.
By popular request, I have got out the mulled wine and mince pies again, as well as some fine Stilton and Reserve Port.
We may go carol singing later. Hope you're all in fine voice.

Looks delicious! Thanks. :)
ReplyDeleteHow much do you pay for the J.W. Lee? We get some of their products here in the States and none are less than $10.00 a bottle. But, as you know, they are great, great drinks.
ReplyDeleteWow, Stilton!
ReplyDeleteYou don't even want to know how much I pay for Stilton in Idaho. Scandalous! But a superb cheese nonetheless.
@Chris - I paid £1.79 ($2.91) for a 500ml bottle. Moonraker is a really nice ale - dark and slightly sweet, hints of toffee, you can really taste the malted barley. I shall be getting some more for later consumption.
ReplyDelete@ancientvaults - you have excellent taste. My father, Grandpa Grognard, insists on getting his Stilton from one of two dairies, Long Clawson and Colton Bassett, both situated in the Vale of Belvoir on the Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire border. The Vale is held by purists to be the source of the King of Cheeses.
Yum!
